Career Advice needed - choice of my life (so far)

I study in France in a Semi-Target BS and I've had multiple internship in tech and banking industry as a business analyst. this is my last year to complete my master and I've got two offers from Société Générale for a 12 months internship (alternance pour les Français). First is in Private Markets Coverage so basically client relationship management with investment funds that are already clients of the bank (a lot of operational tasks and talk with client). the other one is as a Credit Risk Analyst for the NBFI (Insurers and Investment funds) clients of the bank (no client exposition but a lot of financial analysis AND involvement in clients deals). These are two different positions and I genuinely don't know which one to chose. I really interested in PE and it would be my dream industry to work in later but I don't know which of the two will help me reach that.

Questions for the WSO community :

  • What's the reputation of Société Générale in the industry ?

  • Which offer would you choose if you were in my place ?

  • What positions do you think I will be able to apply for after each experience?

Which offer should I choose to break into PE ?
