Different GPAs on transcript

Hi Alls,

As far as i know, there will be background check on transcript/GPA twice for most BBs:
1) When you apply to a position, submit an electronic transcript as an attachment
2) When you land a job/superday, sned companies an official transcript though college's system

Here is my case: currently I have a 3.50 cumulative on my transcript and I wrote it as 3.5/4.0 on application&resume. However, I was in serious illness at the end of last semester and I didn't take the finals. So those courses are not graded and will not be graded till mid October. (I will take makeup around mid-Sep)

My grade may be may be lowered, (since I may have some more B+, and cumulative will be below than 3.50) Is that a big problem?

The second question is that, I may need to withdraw one course (which I got an A) to be considered as honor major. (We can do that at my school, only if you have solid reason and get the permission from your dean) It's just like you got AP Cal BC for 5 and take Cal1 intentionally for boosting GPA, and department will not offer you a honor degree for that. (they consider both grade and difficulty). If i withdraw that A, my grade would also be lower than 3.50 and be 3.48. Will my offer (if i got one) be receded?

Thanks!
TSMBjergsen
