M&A opportunity in London.

I have three years of experience in M&A working for a prominent KPO firm in India where I handled clients in the EMEA region. I have completed 20+ deals in a traditional bullpen environment. My work involved modelling, pitchbooks and other research activities.
Job Experience
2 years as equity research analyst at institutional sales desk(growth equities)
3 years in M&A back office as an analyst.

Education
B. Tech (Non Target) from India in Instrumentation Technology.
M.Sc in Management from NYU (not stern)

Going for a non target MBA in UK(due to financial limitations). What are the chances of getting into M&A in London as an associate?? Will it be unrealistic to target private equity ( I'm not a megafund maniac)

Given that you already (possibly) made a significant financial commitment with your NYU Masters, you should only look at LBS MBA if you were to get some financial aid. If you’re open to other roles outside of finance that pay a decent/acceptable wage, you could take a look at other programs within Continental Europe (HEC, IE, etc.) but odds are you wouldn’t get a role in London thereafter given your background.

TL;DR: For IBD Assoc roles, only LBS makes sense from a time and resource commitment perspective, if open to other C.Europe, other programs may make sense but are not really worth the pain from what I’ve seen (except decent ones like HEC and INSEAD though they are more used as gateways for consulting I think)
