Morgan Stanley GCM
Im currently a business analyst at McKinsey looking to make a strong transition into finance. Tomorrow, I have a superday for MS GCM, and I was wondering whether this would be a good career path. Could anyone share what compensation looks like across different roles (analyst, associate, VP)? What are hours like at GCM? What are some exit opportunities? I’m aware this role is different than your typical IBD role but is it worth transitioning into? Would I have a strong compensation say 4 years into the role?
What's the relationship between bond yield and price?
Both move in the same direction - cmon give me a harder one
Math ain’t mathing buddy
lol i hope you're just being sarcastic
hey, curious (if you dont mind sharing) if this is for the MS Experienced Professional Programs (MSEPP) GCM division or a fixed lateral position?
Yes, it is!
it is for MSEPP GCM?
Yes it is for MSEPP GCM
When did you have a first round? Good luck tomorrow..
Hey! I just received an email today saying to expect timeslots for two interviews with GCM members in the coming days. Did you already have the initial/first round interviews or is the Superday the only interview that you have after the automated Hirevue?
how did it go?
It was pushed to next week. How are you preparing for the interview? The recruiter told me it was going to be a mix of technical and behavioral. I’ve never prepared for a technical interview and am not sure I’m approaching it correctly.
Mostly looking at market news and reading up the divisions and brushing up on my resume experience.
Anyone know if possible to go from IB to MBB without MBA?
