Oppenheimer TMT Group in SF
Can we please share some perspectives about their TMT group in SF? Are they mostly focusing on M&A deal? What is the comp like for AN2? What is their WLB and exit opportunity?
Thank you in advance!

Hey Analyst 2 in IB-M&A, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I am sad to say, but this thread is lonely, so thought I'd post in here to try and help out. Some potential topics that might help:

No idea on AN2 comp but they wanted to pay $18/hour for SA. For reference, SF minimum wage is $16.99
Ignore title, that's old.
Old roommate worked with NYC TMT group as an analyst so not sure if it's 1:1 but I know that their base is like 10K or so below street but their total all-in was street because they got a larger bonus. I'm assuming it's the same across offices and my roommate said his deal flow was like 50% ECM and 50% buyside/sellside M&A. I think he closed 2 sellside M&A deals in his time there before he left, but he mentioned their healthcare services, FIG, and M&A teams were teams doing nearly 100% M&A if that's what you want.
Quick LinkedIn search shows a variety in exits (Oppenheimer in general) with exit ops ranging from 1 KKR guy, 1 Providence guy, a couple UMM/MM PE shops and other buyside firms across family offices (saw a guy that is working at the 76ers owner's family office), LMM and public equities, and other banks like GS and Guggenheim.
