I read Barbarians at the Gate last summer when I was interning in NY, great book, highly recommended to everyone who's interested in LBO.
Monkey Business is a great book too, but don't take the story too seriously

for "When Genius Failed" That shit would not let me put it down. Strangely suspenseful, like seeing a head-on train wreck in slow motion.
