I have been accepted to Mccombs at UT, BYU and NYU Shanghai - I'm struggling to choose. If cost wasn't an issue, I don't know how I'd pick! If I can get some kind of direction as to which school has better post-graduate benefits, that would be great. As of now - I would have to take out quite a bit of money to attend UT or NYU and none to attend BYU. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not confident in what it is that "I'd like to do" after graduation. I could give you a general idea, but what exactly do you mean?
I plan to major in finance but career options... Financial analysis, possibly at an investment bank. I have always desired to secure a place on Wall Street, but I am open to a lot. Maybe that helps. I know this is quite general and vague, but like I said, not super confident in what "I'd like to do."
If you want to go to wall street, NYU Shanghai may not be the best school to go to just because it's so far away. I'd say NYU if you can transfer to the US campus.
UT Austin can give you solid leads in banking in Texas, and some in NYC. Also will probably be the most fun.
BYU does send some kids to the street, and solid all around school. But from what I believe, very little drinking and usually no alcohol at parties. See their honor code.
If you are Mormon I'd recommend going to BYU. Serves all the purposes you could think of. Non-Mormons hate it though. Cost makes it a no-brainer.
UT/NYU don't present that much of a superior experience to justify the price hike. The saved money is very significant, you can use it on so many things.
Why would Non-Mormons hate it? It sounds quite appealing to me (who is a Non-Mormon), otherwise I probably wouldn't have applied! But I guess I haven't heard about Non-Mormons' experience in such an environment.
If you don't mind the mormon culture, BYU hands down. There are actually quite a few non-mormons at BYU and it seemed like those that wanted to get into IBD got in and those that wanted MBB didn't have too much trouble either. I had 2 of my good friends from my super non-target undergrad transfer and both secured positions at GS IBD in just 1 year.

I personally know multiple Non-Mormons that have had good experiences at BYU - especially if you want to do banking. There is a very tight-knit IB group within the business school. Can't speak to the lack of booze but personally, I think that the cost-benefit of attending BYU is unparalleled (admittedly slightly biased). $20k for a four-year degree in a top 3 accounting program or a decently respected finance program isn't too shabby considering that's less than be the cost of a single semester at UT or NYU.
Well - good thing I do not have any appeal to alcohol! I am already well aware of the honor code and know about that aspect. It doesn't bother me.
A question that has been running through my head, being that BYU is so cheap and UT and NYU are definitely on the other side of the spectrum, would it even be remotely worth it to take on debt to receive an undergraduate degree from UT or NYU? I would have to take out quite a lot for UT for they did not offer me anything but loans (I would be paying out of state tuition as well, so the game plan might be to establish residency by hunkering down at another, cheap school in Texas and transfer after I establish residency. The question I have with that situation is, however, would transferring in from say a community college harm me?) and I would have to take out around 10k or so for NYU Shanghai. Seeing the other posts and from what I already know, NYU probably isn't the best choice. One question that runs through my head is, even though it's NYU in Shanghai, it's still NYU. Does it not hold the same or similar weight compared to NYU in NYC?
BYU is an awesome school but to correct a previous comment, it is far from a strong MBB recruiting school. From what I've heard, only around 6-7 got MBB offers this last year. IB recruiting is much stronger.
Try UT/BYU LinkedIn alumni searches for companies/industries you're interested in, if you haven't already.
NYU Shanghai isn't NYU Stern. What is the major you'd be studying there? I feel like for US Recruiting it wouldn't be ideal.
I have heard that BYU does place ideally into Wall Street.
Imo UT is the best in terms of social life/placement. I think it places more into Dallas/Houston Offices, but nevertheless you can make it work for NYC if that is your goal.
In short, I'd narrow it down to UT and BYU.
BYU is phenomenal for I-banking. Really great pipeline in NY, San Francisco, and Chicago. A lot of stuff in Houston too!
These schools have extremely different cultures from one another. They're are all great schools with plenty of post-grad opportunities, just go where you fit in the best.
If you're interested in working in the finance industry in the US (even HK), NYU Shanghai shouldn't even be an option. Obviously it would be a different story if you could relatively easily transfer to Stern after a year, but assuming that does not happen, NYU Shanghai is far from a target school when it comes to finance recruiting in US/HK. I can't comment on the two other schools since I have no knowledge about them, but at least that would be my two cents regarding NYU S.
