Astronaut to MF pivot?
Hey guys,
I am prepping with my team in Houston for our upcoming launch in 2026, but I've recently been asking myself... What is the point of risking my fucking life if all I'm getting paid is 100k a year when a UPS driver is making 1.5x more than me? So, I'm wondering: given my PHDs in mathematics, physics, and biology, alongside 10 years of a NASA training, and 4 years in astronomy research, is my resume good enough for a shot at KKR, Blackstone or even maybe Apollo? Any chance I would get a first round at UPS?
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
