Best way to get my name out there?
Currently finishing my first year at a LMM bank in Cleveland. Looking to move to a LMM PE shop & wondering what the best way to network with professionals at prospective shops I have an interest in.
Cold email / LinkedIn message? Coffee chats? Ask for networking calls? Send resume?
The last thing I want to be is another annoying banker that wastes their time.
Let me know how you did it & the best steps I can take to get my foot in the door.

Go to ACG Dealmax this next week.
Go to AM&AA this summer.
Attend some ACG events or TMA events near you. There’s always PE guys there and always people looking to learn more about the industry at those events.
