Evercore RX FT Interview

Ladies and gentlemen, what should I expect from the rx-specific interview with Evercore for full-time role? Let's open up a thread. Also, what's the recruitment entails overall for FT in RX? For M&A it's quite straightforward (you do interviews & case study) but RX - I have zero clue. Maybe someone who had experience can guide me through what to expect or direct me to older threads on this? Danke!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the Evercore RX interview process is similar to other RX processes. The phone screen will probably include basic restructuring questions.

As for the recruitment process for a full-time role in RX, it might be slightly different from M&A, but it's not specified in the WSO Dataset.

I would recommend checking out the WSO Academy courses, specifically the Investment Banking Interview Prep and Private Equity Interview Prep. These courses might provide you with some insights into the interview process and what to expect.

Also, you might want to consider participating in the WSO Virtual Bootcamps. They offer a variety of sessions, including a Private Equity Interview 1-Day Bootcamp and an Investment Banking Interview 4-Hour Bootcamp. These could be beneficial in preparing for your interview.

Remember, preparation is key! Good luck!

Ok basically it was mostly laid back, didn’t ask any questions about deal experience etc, asked 3 technical questions about a $100 PIK impact on the 3 financial statements & to find Equity Value w/ $1 Billion Net Debt, $160M EBITDA, 5x EV/EBITDA. Another question was why/when we use
EV/EBITDA-Capex rather than EV/EBITDA and to give an example of an industry where we’d use them, for example automobile industry would use
EV/EBITDA-Capex b/c of higher PPE expense. Anyway those are the questions I got, they are only hiring 1-2 ppl for RX FT, I got rejected today so it doesn’t matter, best of luck to you buddy!

Go to restructuringinterviews.com and that has all you need.

If you already have the interview scheduled and you’re only starting RX prep now, it might be too late.
