IB abroad for junior summer

Hi,

I am a current sophomore majoring in Finance at Babson College (not a target school) with a 3.6 and I am interning this summer in PE. Next summer I really want to break into IB and have had a few first rounds so far at U.S. investment banks, however I am really interested in interning/ working out of college outside the US specifically in the EU. I love the idea of living in Europe or Asia and doing IB (Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore) and anywhere really in the EU. (I hold an EU pass port and a US one). Is the timeline different in the EU for IB? Do they hire interns from American universities?

How realistic is it for me to get a job outside of the US as an intern has anyone gone down this path? If so please let me know any recommendations and your experience,  thank you so much!!
