IB Opportunities for Non-Natives in Singapore

Hi Everyone,

Was looking to get some insights into IB (M&A) opportunities for non-natives in SG at BBs / Boutique IBs - I have received an offer to join NUS' full-time MBA program, which I am evaluating currently.

My main concern is regarding the increasingly stringent visa policies in SG, wherein companies are required to prove / justify that no local talent was found to be suitable for the role

Just for reference, I have c. 5 years of IB experience at a boutique mid-market IB in India, covering clients across Oil & Gas, Metals, and Mining. I would like to pivot to a BB or leading boutique and cover Natural Resources post my MBA

Any insights would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance!

PS - This is my first post on the forum so please excuse me in case I have flouted any forum rules
