Middle Office Internship Advice

Received an offer for a middle office role that sits within Product control function, covering Global Equities & Financing Solutions.

Full role: Equity finance strategies focus on arbitrage opportunities in financing space, where as Delta one strategies focus on arbitrage opportunities in relative value space in the Equities world. Products mainly traded by the businesses includes FX Spot, FX Forward, Interest rate swaps, Equity swaps, Equities, & Derivatives Product control function is responsible for daily / monthly P&L reporting, new business initiatives, accurate reporting of the firm's financial statements, providing P&L commentary, proactively resolving issues by working with front office, & other back-office functions & a thorough understanding of the business.

Hoping to break into IBD/AM for grad - would this internship be beneficial to have this on my CV for Grad applications or would it be negatively viewed in interviews?
