MSc in Finance?
Do you recommend it or a new undergraduate degree in economics?
My long-term goal is to work in HF / PE. Thanks!

I assume you're UK? I'm at a semi target doing an MSc Finance and think it's only worth it if you can get into a target (Oxford, LSE, Imperial etc) or if you already have some internship experience in finance. The course and cred from a semi/non-target won't help an awful lot to get into competitive roles unless you can get some work experience behind it (or be one of the lucky few that get in without it). Just my 2 cents
Hi! Thanks! I’m an international student who is planning to land in the UK/NY in a few years!
Do you think that the possibilities of getting a job there (HF/PE) will increase if you get an MBA after the MSc? Maybe it’ll be easier to find good internships choosing that path...
Also, I’m not sure if the MSc (+ the MBA) will replace the lack of an undergraduate degree in economics... considering the competitiveness of the world of Finance (PE/HF/EB) and my legal background, I’m starting to believe that I won’t get any chance if I don’t start studying economics... What is your opinion about that?
