Best 5 Financial Shows on Television?

Alright monkeys, I don't get to watch a lot of television, so I want you guys to weigh in on the top 5 finance-ish (let's go broad here) shows you watch on the boob tube.

I watch Mad Money, but that's just because I like to watch shows that feel like an NBA halftime show, where at any moment I might have a seizure or lose all of my money, not because I feel it has any real value...

Here's a preliminary list to get the blood flowing and the anger mounting:

1) Squawk Box

2) Mad Money

3) Taking Stock

4) Kudlow & Company

5) Fast Money

I like Options Action, but idk if you consider that a part of Fast Money or not.

And lets not forget the show with the best information on how to get rich--American Greed!

Am I the only one who likes Kramer? I think it is nice to hear some quick stock ideas. Gives me ideas to look at.

TV is about entertainment most of the time. I think we are being overly critical.

I agree - Cramer's not as bad as people like to make him out to be. He's a former Goldman sales guy and hedge fund PM. I think he presents decent ideas to look at every now and then even though the show is structured for retail investors. He'll make good and bad calls like anybody but idea flow isn't a bad thing to have.

I respect Kramer....he's a really smart guy and built himself up from the ground. But whether he has his viewers' best interests in mind, well, that's a different story.

Man, some great responses.

Midas, I will endorse the "NSFW Show with Eddie and Midas" ... as long as I get to be the masturbating monkey who yells stock picks-type repeat guest.

Kramer really isn't that bad ... he's just so easy to hate on ... see John Stewart punking him if you need any evidence. I appreciate his role as the fiery, no-bullshit retail analyst, who acts as a crack-addled puppet of a soundboard for the average investor. He gets the ideas flowing, and at least his show is far more entertaining than most, and it least it moves quickly; most other shows, aside from the stock ticker, move at a crawl. It's just that Kramer isn't a real journalist, that's the price you have to pay for the lively show/entertainment-style financial format, and so he shouldn't sell himself as anything else.

This question should really be re-tailored to: Who are the Most Fuckable Analysts on CNBC (et al)?
