Not a burger, but they won't call me up even if hell breaks loose. My little brother will probably get drafted though, kinda scared of that. We'll probably piss off to another continent altogether if Putler conquers Lemberg/Lwiw, because we're sort of in the thick of the whole thing.
Good luck conscripting all the fatasses in this country. There have been multiple military officers who have gone on Ted talks and the like describing the crisis of recruitment the military is seeing purely based on how many people flat out aren't qualified to even enter basic. Too many overweight people, health issues, doing drugs, etc. There's no way they try to force the youth of this generation to be on the front lines successfully, I don't think it's inaccurate to say that they are largely too fragile and will be more of a detriment to their own fellow serviceman than the enemy combatants. And to all the idiots who just try to say "all they have to do is fly drones/shoot bombs" - if it were that easy then Afghanistan and Iraq would've fallen in months, not years (and then still technically not even then). You need manpower to occupy captured territory, and if your men are weak marshmallows then you won't be occupying shit.

If you're not a relative to a senior government official, then you will be sent to the front lines when conscription begins. Nobody in government cares about sending unqualified civis into the battlefield as long as they're not their own blood. Cannon fodder still has value in combat.

I don't disagree with your statement, the political class are absurdist not shy for blood and I wouldn't be too shocked at this point if they did try to force it anyway - it would just be disastrous I think, because of all the above. But the only way I think they would resort to a draft situation in this day and age would be if it were directly to engage either Russia or China, and both of those would be world-enders because there's no way we enact an actual land war with either of those two without it turning nuclear. Then everyone's a loser potentially, not just the combatants. That's why this war in Ukraine is particularly infuriating when you add in the rhetoric from leadership on wanting to "overthrow" Putin pushes the man into a corner. Hard to not take seriously an executive branch making multiple public references or outright statements about regime change when they have a record of following through on exactly that in 50+ other instances around the world.

Absolutely not. I'm already in the reserves so I wouldn't have a choice either way. But to you civies, how could you be so selfish? Freedom isn't free.
Really depends on how bad Putin and Xinnie screw things up. I don’t believe in war and I would not fight in most cases, but if things reached WW2 level of chaos with them as the instigators I’d have no choice.
Yes, warm bodies are needed, but the combination of America’s air and naval superiority are enough to gain full control (disregarding nuclear threat) of any battle space.
The US has invested so heavily into special operations that i feel like we have enough operators to do whatever needs to be done anywhere in the world. We don’t need the soyboy millennial to defeat China when we have the most highly trained warriors to ever walk the face of the earth
Yes, the US Military is the greatest in the world.

Yes. Yes I would. I owe my life to the older generations of my country who sacrificed their youth and life for mine. If it calls for me to do the same. I will.

I’m in the Reserve, pretty sure I would be given orders and have to waive bye-bye to my civilian job.

Noone who's millennial or younger is fit to serve.
If you can’t even bench your own body weight just say that
I can. Can you?
It's not going to help on the battlefield anyway.
do you understand that some millenials are 40 now? realistically only millenials and Gen Z are fit to serve, period.
Yes and that means that the entire Western world has zero manpower to fight wars. Too unhealthy.
You just posted this:
It's funny how the people who complain the West is 'weak' drool over Trump and Elon like a bunch of teenage girls.
My hero makes tech noone can do, createa jobs, puts rotten people in their place and has any woman he wants.
Yours bribes governments worldwide to destroy their own countries so that he can loot them and had to resort to Asian mail brides. To each his own.

You can -- with hard work -- train fatties into not being fat, but you can't train Gen Z soyboys into becoming men unfortunately
but the whole point is to turn all those fatasses into real men

The US fought on the wrong side during WWII
Isaiah_53_5 💎🙌💎🙌💎 I’d like to get your thoughts on my take on this.

Nice try FBI. I am totally a loyal subject of the United States government who would never contemplate revolutionary action.
Serve and Protect (Israel)

I'm not from the USA, so no. thanks
Why would you want to fight for Israel?
