Australian MM PE Intern wanting to move to UK IB Grad
Currently interning at AU-based MM PE fund, very reputable locally. From UK originally but moved to Australia when I was 10 (21 now), so i have both passports. I graduate November 2023 - timing a bit different in AU.
Wanting to get into MM IB in UK, London / Manchester to be a bit closer to family. Would recruiters ever look at overseas hires with an existing British passport but lives overseas? I have already spoken to a few Banks who seem keen but said hiring isn't until September, and then i would need to essentially come on as an intern until graduation.
Would appreciate some insight from my fellow Brits!
