Hearing from friends at targets that CPI, Amity and others have begun holding info sessions and scheduling 1-on-1's to speak to current seniors about on-cycle opportunities, is this a sign things are going to kick off even earlier this year?

Probably a little earlier, but they can only go so early until they reach the point where most of the incoming analyst class isn't even in NY anymore. The headhunters don't dictate when on-cycle starts (the first firm who wants to go does) so its likely that they don't even firmly know when on-cycle will be. Also, since last cycle it seemed like they were unprepared and ended up missing a lot of candidates due to not having time to schedule intros, they may just be trying to get ahead of things.
