I feel like SMU, but I'm just guessing. Seems like the type of school where you'd make a lot of connections which is important.

Bruh just do Emory easy choice. Emory is legitimately prestigious and not to mention that Atlanta is popping for RE and Emory is deep in those networks

Depends on personal goals.

SMU is the perfect school for penetrating the Dallas market, which is projected to be indefinitely and increasingly strong.

Emory is a great school with alumni littered in C-Suite rolls everywhere from PE/REPE to BB/EB banks. Emory would also likely grant you access to similar roles in Dallas when compared to SMU. Both great options, but Emory takes it in my book.

SMU is an excellent school for commercial real estate, and its alumni in the field aren’t just limited to Dallas. They have great alums in CRE in every major city, and have a dedicated real estate major, as well as the Folsom Institute with a lot of dedicated faculty.
Emory is theoretically more prestigious / higher ranked and has a good undergraduate business school, but less of an intense real estate focus. I’d recommend you look at cultural fit as the two are very different. SMU is heavy on Greek life, social life, and also has a lot of wealthy kids and the accompanying scene. Emory is much quieter & more serious. But obviously well regarded in Atlanta and the Southeast.
