CONSULTING ---> PRIVATE EQUITY---- Deal Discussions on Resume?

I was briefly an intern for a corporate strat group. I am putting my resume together & want to know how much I am comfortably allowed to disclose about what 'strategy' work we did?
My whole purpose for applying is there were a lot of venture capital/partnership/jointventures models being built. I am also referred by someone who works for my old company, so should I even mention that we explored (clandestinely) M&A-like avenues for corporate expansion?

Thanks

I'd say fine to speak in generalities as it's obviously very normal for companies (across verticals and sizes) to explore M&A/partnerships. Just don't include anything proprietary, confidential, and/or not publicly announced - especially if you were part of a public company. It's not only a compliance risk, but also a bad look with the PE firm hiring you as it would certainly throw some yellow/red flags around your broader judgment.

Could you be more specific? yes this was for a stock. In my existing CV, I do mention "business landscaping for [markets/patients with similar disease or comorbidities to our core line of income]". is that safe? I wonder if my boss would object "oh it shows we were looking at connecting with/splitting revenue with XYZ adjacent market solution for PQR disease". Is that safe?

When i say "I valued 'HypOtHeTiKAL" or "poTentiAl" acquisitions, surely my autistic eyes can see that's....kind of skirting a career cut off? Or is saying "hypothetical" kosher? Would a fast n furiuos company even WANT to listen to my 'hYpoTheTicAL" DD?

"valuated the viability of medical technology...for expansion into similar cases and care systems". IDFK how I should say this

I also 'attended management presentations" yeah, flagrantly code for chilling sitting in my boss'es cube listening to JV conversations

Frankly I just want an 'in' at this shop, life's putting me to the elephant dildo right about now and I would appreciate sliding into this sweatshop for a few career as well as escapist/'comeback' reasons--friends have repudiated me at the sorcery of one of my frmr (whipped) friends cackling harpy cuntwive; my face hath swollen; just as I was about to switch into this lucrative role, a harpy cancelfucked me over nothing & is going around gaslighting my work (she's in HR/academia and knows everyone in my small state's finance scene....who can guess her cultural background?) and my esposa-elegente has bought a plane ticket out of town

Thank you

f....fuck,man...
