Australian vs American Unis

I know that American unis are a lot better than Australian, but at what point do the top Australian unis become better than American? Take Melbourne Uni for example, at what point would it be better to go to Melbourne? T20? T30? Australian btw

In what sense? For American high finance? If so probably never. Otherwise it's a breakdown between academic / department strength -- of which I'm sure some AU unis prevail above their U.S. counterparts
