Best test book

I've searched the forums, and I don't think this has been asked.

I want to try and transfer, and I want to max my chances so i wanted to retake the SAT.

Can you guys suggest what the best book to use is? Princeton review, Kaplan? Suggestions?

Tuaj, the Kaplan SAT book is the easiest while Baaron's is the hardest,The Official SAT book prepared by collegeboard is the most accurate to the real SAT's, while Princeton review is the worst.

I wound recommend first doing the Kaplan SAT book (easiest) then the Baarons (Hardest) and at last the Collegeboard book. This method will prepare you well for the SAT's especially for Math.

Good luck!

thanks Lee304, math is definitely a section I'm looking to improve upon. People have said that Rocket Review is good?

Hi. Good question.

Our website does contain book reviews and they're based largely on the feedback of the thousands of applicants we've worked with over the past dozen years. It might be a good place to start. The link for the SAT book reviews is http://www.admissionsconsultants.com/college/sati.asp.

It's probably hard to overemphasize the importance of using official test questions from College Board as there is a definitive qualitative difference between most test prep company material and the real questions from old exams.

Best of luck with your applications!

Sincerely,

10 New SATs by Princeton Review (i think?) made all the difference in my scores. they are 10 ACTUAL SAT exams with answers and review guides. i started off getting low 700/high 600 in Math/Verbal, and ended up with 750M 730V after taking and reviewing each one of those 10 tests and retaking the test. i highly recommend it.
