Consulting -> Non-traditional MBA -> Deal team
Former T2 management/strategy consultant currently doing PE Ops consulting at a small boutique. Dipped my toes into a small deal execution project (helped build out LBO model, pitch deck, managed data room, and supported DD process) once by chance and really liked it and want to pivot to PE/VC deal team or become an entrepreneur altogether. With age of 33, 6 years of consulting experience, 8 years since UG, I’m too old for normal 2-year MBA. Considering doing top PT programs like Booth/Kellogg or 1-yr programs like MIT Sloan Fellows or Stanford MsX. Thoughts on making that kind of transition through these programs? Any success stories?
