Is Cass MBA good? target for IB/EQ? Manchester/Imperial?

Hello,

I've been admitted by Cass for Full-time MBA. I've been reading topics here about Cass, it seems to have many negative remarks, which made me quite confused to go or not. Some of my friends told me that it is famous in banking and finance and will be easy to get an IB/EQ job in London. And in many of the topic, it has been said not to be a target school. In FT MBA rankings, it has higher post salary than IB/WARWICK? Is that true?

Could you please tell me more about Cass pls? I'm working in data analysis and computer EE for 4 years in Paris. I'm just seeking for an affordable MBA to accelerate my career, I want to become a Program Manager for Fintech / Data firm.

If Cass is not the best choice? How about Manchester and Imperial
LBS/HEC may be too expesive for me

Imperial > Cass > Manchester

Cass will open doors for you, but not nearly as many as LSE/LBS/HEC and even Imperial. The school has a rep for overcharging for what they provide. Student quality is mixed, it's almost as if the school takes a wide range of students just to get $$$, w/ student quality a secondary consideration.

Can you get a FinTec job from there? Maybe, regardless you will have to hustle and do very well. It seems the school is a bit of an overflow one. Recruiters never pick it as their top pick for anything, but in years where the economy is booming and top schools have more options, Cass grads will have more options. Now that's not the case and as the top programs have a harder time placing their students, I imagine Cass students will get it even worse.

If you can get into a LBS/LSE/HEC or even Imperial, I would take it even if you have to pay more as your career options post-school will be so much better.

Manchester isn't even worth considering. Very regional local program.
