Master Europe suggestions: HEC vs Bocconi

Hi there!
German undergrad here (think Manheim/Frankfurt school of management/Goethe).
I was fortunate enough to get into Bocconi Msc Finance (no scholarship) and HEC Master in management(no scholarship).
My goal is to get into IB (no preference, M&A, S&T, LevFin whatever) in London. They both have their own pros and cons. Bocconi's course is quite quant-heavy (specially the 1st year). Hec MIM give you the chance to do an entire internship year after the first one, and then u can undertake a specialization (e.g. international finance, quantitative economics and finance).
So in both programmes you can get good quantitative skills and a broad perspective of the field.
Btw I hate Milan (don't like the city) but the location of HEC is not that great.
Just to give you a little bit more context, my GPA (converted) is around 3.9/4.0 (i don't want to work in a german speaking country), GMAT 710 and one summer internship at a consulting firm (think gartner/Roland Berger/accenture).
Thank you in advance, Peace!

Don't really see the difficulty to make your decision here? Both programs can/will bring you into IB in London if that is your goal and you put in the necessary effort. You hate Milan, so go to Paris. If 1 Consulting internship is all you have you should definitely consider doing a gap year (or at least another summer) in a more finance related field. You should also try finding out what you want to do, having no preference between M&A and S&T post-bachelor is rather uncommon imo.

I can do a summer between the two year at Bocconi. At Hec, you are allowed to take an entire gap year between year 1 and 2.

The better question would be is there actually any aspect in which Bocconi beats HEC. I think no, or at least nothing significant.

Don´t get me wrong, Bocconi is a good school, but HEC is simply different level.
