MBA placements
I was bored, and was going through Business Week's B-school profiles. Under 'Alumni Affairs and Careers' it shows you how many students got placed at each company. Thought you might find it interesting in case you hadn't already stumbled across it.

A few quick observations:
1.) Wharton places 50 people at McK. That's about double that of its closest competitors' for whom stats are available, namely, Booth, Columbia, Kellogg (no stats for Stanford and HBS, but if you know the #s, please post).
2.) Johnson places only 3 at McK. Now, I know Johnson isn't in the same league as any of the above names, but isn't it better than the likes of McCombs and UNC? Anyone care to explain the curious case of Johnson GSM?
Wharton and Harvard trumps all

what a stupid and useless post
keep in mind that wharton has close to 900 people in its program, which is a lot more than most programs. this likely accounts, at least partially, for why wharton has such a high number of grads placed at Mckinsey.
stats 101: you would be better off looking at the percentage of the class that place at Mck rather than the number of students.
I think you should keep both in mind:
Percentage to see the strengths of each school (IB, Consulting, etc). Numbers to see the actual amount of open spots available per school.
