My goal is to work in consulting in London but I’m also open to AM as I have experience in it and I don’t mind it. I know that I won’t get into MBB realistically but Big4 and other T2/boutique firms are my targets. I’ve been accepted to MSc Marketing Management and MSc Finance and Investment at RSM (Both have been deferred until 2023). Which degree should I take to get into London consulting/AM?

First of all, why do you think you can't get into MBB? There's no need to put yourself down without trying first. As to which one to take, these are very different paths. If you want to keep your options open, I'd pick the finance degree (although I think marketing is more fun), for a few reasons: During your newbie MBB training (yes I'm using MBB as a generic), it'll be easier to learn how to do competitor and market analysis quickly than to do financial analysis quickly. If you want to go in AM, a marketing degree will be as useful as a deflated basket ball.
