Question about startup studios

Current Senior at a T10 Uni. Looking to work at a startup studio(I do have previous experience working at startups and some mildly successful side projects). My main goal is to learn as much as I can about how startups are run. I understand that they don't really have out-and-about job apps. I was planning on looking at the studio's portfolio companies and trying to figure out if there's any value I can provide kind of like a permissionless apprentice as a means of trying to move the needle forward. For context, I'm primarily networking for an operating role rather than an investing role. I would love any advice.
