From Operations to Client Service Officer: A good move?
I graduated 1 year ago and have been working in operations for about a year in Switzerland in a big American bank.
I have received an offer for Client service officer / Wealth Manager Assistant in Milan in the WM division of one of the leading French banking groups.
The tasks are not rocket science (administrative work such as account openings, answering clients' queries on the phone, and preparing client meetings) and I would be far less paid. Still, the pay is not what drives me at this early stage of my career: I am wondering if it would be a good opportunity in order to later move into the front office.
Is this position more valuable in the CV? Would a Client service officer position give me many more opportunities? Does an experience in Milan can be somehow leverageable?
Thanks in advance!
