Thoughts on Dyal Co?
I’ve seen people give rave reviews of Dyal Co on here. Can anyone speak to the culture, analyst experience, and comp at the firm?

sweatshop with above street pay
Not another one of this ffs
If you do a simple linkedin search theres only about 15 or so employees with 5-10 being juniors. Not much is known about the shop except they do 3-4 mega/large cap deals year. A lean team with probably sweaty hours (nature of a lean shop) with probably higher than average pay. They havent done SA/FT recruiting and so far have only looked for laterals (talked with HH representing them), not sure about this cycle though. Exits are tbd as its mostly laterals and no concrete track record but I’m sure you do 1-2 years you’ll be able to land MM/UMM (maybe even MF?) as long as Dyal himself is willing to call for you lol
Is it a good opportunity? Yeah but I’d take any EB + BB aside from UBS/DB over Dyal.
Everything else you hear about them is probably coming from other prospect /interns regurgitating information they read on some other post on wso and claiming it as fact
Edit: I’m not the one that commented below
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
What about Jefferies, Gugg, or Rothschild?
Stfu intern. You clearly work at Dyal and you're on here promoting your bank. Get a life Any of those banks over Dyal. Even UBS / DB over Dyal because Dyal doesn't have exit opps
wtf is dyal
Theer was another thread about this where people were taking Dyal over BBs. Looks like it's a top notch firm!

okay so everyone at wso either works at rbc, dyal, ftp, evercore or bust
No, tons of people work at Moelis and Centerview as well. Have pm'd a couple kids who work at GS and MS and JPM. Don't know about the rest. Also, I'm sure there are just one or two people working at RBC or FTP who just keep bringing it up or other people associate them with the firms haha
and USA
Oh, you represent USA? That's great!
I work at GS :)
Yes, I have messaged you before!
