Are we headed for a Revolution?

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/guest-post-ascenden…

This article on ZeroHedge makes a lot of interesting points. It begs the question that I've been hearing discussed a lot both at and outside of work: with this apathy against the rich, OWS, patriotism in the US - what is the end game? Will there be a revolution and if so will it be violent? I don't want to sound like a radical, but it is an interesting debate.

The US claims global jurisdiction over its citizens income, and it sets the terms under which you can leave the country.

We need a three to five year period where taxes on incomes over $1,000,000 either hit 80% or we require folks to donate 80% of their income to donestic 501c3 charities. It will cripple the sociopaths in the country.

Sure, they can leave. But then we want them to surrender all of the assets they accumulated while citizens.

Sure, they can ferry those assets out of the country before they leave, but then we have the most powerful military on the planet.

Or, they can sit here and put up with 80% tax rates for three to five years.

Take away the money, and everyone starts living for the important things in life. We have too many sociopaths in this country, and unfortunately, the only way to kill the cancer is chemotherapy.
