File this one under "Couldn't happen to a nicer guy". Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer hits theaters November 5th, but you can catch it right now on Magnolia On Demand and iTunes. It appears there might be more to the whole mess than just another politician getting his joint worked on. The trailer seems to insinuate a set-up by some of Wall Street's most powerful at the time. I'll let you be the judge:
If there's a lesson to be learned from all this, it's that pride goeth before a fall and it's never a good idea to be a sanctimonious assbag when you've got hookers on your speed dial. I have to give the guy credit, though. He didn't try to pass if off as anyone else's fault. At least he owned it.
Still doesn't mean everyone on Wall Street shouldn't enjoy a good laugh at his expense.
