Can you imagine what a pain in the ass it is to get your cell phone number changed if you're Vikram Pandit?
I would imagine not hard at all, you have a secretary that knows all the secretaries of those you want to have your number.
Anyone with a ton of business contacts has a contact database. The secretary just has to send a mass e-mail about number change to everyone there. 5 minutes of work.
