Your Favorite Quotes

Ok, so sometimes I need to take a step back from throwing rocks at the Fed and shedding the spotlight on the quasi-commies amongst us. Sometimes the depression that isn't and the scumbags that need to hang, need their day of rest as well.

Today, I want to laugh and share some words of wisdom with you guys.

Nobody can claim there isn't a strong correlation between Wall Street and professional sports. In fact, if there were an athletic discipline which encouraged brainy, pudgy, balding men with poor social skills and rampant back hair growth to compete...

The investment banks would likely empty out in a day and everyone from analyst to managing director would be throwing on a pair of Li-Nings.

This is exactly why today's post is not inspired by the WSJ, Bloomberg, Seeking Alpha or any of the finance world's prized print or online publications. Today's post comes from ESPN, where being a baller is almost as important as it once was on the Street.

Every year ESPN publishes their "quotes of the year". They rarely compare in depth to Tolstoy or Shakespeare, but are funny and in some rare cases, quite thought provoking. Actually some of these can relate quite well to Wall Street. I think #5 is a stellar example.

Today I would like to hear what your favorite quotes are. The ones that inspire you, the ones that remind you what your life is all about and the ones that make you nearly #2 in the middle of a meeting when they cross your mind.

Here is my favorite quote of the last few years. You may find its source repugnant or tragically comedic. You may think it has nothing to do with you and maybe you are right.

But in my mind there is so much twisted wisdom and beauty in these words that I can't help but to share them with you guys and hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Hope you guys can do one better than this and have a Phat Tuesday:

Mike Tyson:
My life is like a tornado, a fucking hurricane. It's like I'm a naked tornado that comes through a city and there's just so much wreckage. There's so much destruction, and when it's finally over, it's like the morning after and you're sober and ... what the fuck happened here?"

Tits. Hoo-ah! Big ones, little ones, nipples staring right out at ya, like secret searchlights. Mmm. Legs. I don't care if they're Greek columns... or secondhand Steinways. What's between 'em... passport to heaven. I need a drink. Yes, Mr Sims, there's only two syllables in this whole wide world worth hearing: pussy. Hah! Are you listenin' to me, son? I'm givin' ya pearls here.

Dark Helmet: "We were told to comb the desert so we're combing it." [to two white henchmen with a giant comb] Dark Helmet: "Found anything yet?" Henchmen: "Nothing sir!" [to two more white henchmen with a giant comb] Dark Helmet: "How bout you?" Henchmen: "Not a thing sir!" [to two black henchmen with a giant pick] Dark Helmet: "What about you guys?" Henchmen: "Man, we ain't found shit!"

Reporter: "You write them a check yet?" (referring to $10,000 fine Randy Moss incurred from the NFL) Moss: "When you rich you don't write checks" Reporter: "How are you gonna pay then Randy?" Moss: "Straight cash homie"
