Propping up my feet and hanging out

I've been lurking for a while so I figured it's time to pull up a seat and start participating in the community.

I'm a long time retail options trader with experience in developing spread trading systems. I hope to utilize this forum to network with like minded spirits that have been down the path of leaping from retail trader to fund manager. More specifically, I look forward to learning the process and sharing my experience of starting an offshore fund.

I am seasoned in derivatives. Why not take your track record into a reputable prop firm if you are looking for additional leverage? You'll need 2-3 years minimum. Managed futures can be a good gig, but I would advise against making it your sole means of income.

Why an offshore fund?
