Hedge Funds Paris

I am looking for Paris-based hedgefunds that would be open to recruit non-french speaking professionals. Background: previous internships at PE-firm, boutique hedge fund, and 1 year as BB trader. Anyone with some insight into the French industry with thoughts on the possibilities?

A few I know: Bernheim, Dreyfus & Co Lyxor Asset Management Tikehau Investment Management
Mantra Invest (according to description, invests in publicly listed PE funds and alternative PE)

Breaking into finance is comparatively harder in France since positions are advertised only to few specific target school networks and not openly (a big majority don't even have a careers page). But you have solid background, you just need to network well I guess.

Paris-based hedge funds? Shirley, you must be joking?! Last I heard Francois Hollande was doing all he could to make those wealthy types feel distinctly unwelcome in France...

Anyways, apparently, they do exist, although there's very very few... I would suggest targeting Paris as your ideal location for a hedge fund career is going to present a pretty monumental challenge. If you have personal reasons for choosing Paris (rather than something in neighboring Switzerland), you might wish to think carefully about the various trade offs.
