Has anyone here swung a 4/10 work week?
I have been contemplating this. If you've done it how did you go about it and how great is it?
Thanks!

More like 5 10s out here man..
9/80 work schedule. Week 1 - 9,9,9,9,8, Week 2 - 9,9,9,9,off. Schedule is standard where I work, I also here it is pretty common from some of my oil and gas friends in TX. It is really nice work to have every other weekend as a three day weekend.
that is cot damn amazing. so that is just how it is - you didn't need to request it?
i am sure that it won't fly where i am, at least not now. we're casual but too small to do something like this (though i see no reason why it wouldn't work, we'd have to somehow convince the powers that be).
Hm.. I think I will try this. Although not sure if CPA partners will take this kindly, I guess I will have to take a shot and request this.
Haha.. yeah, at my B4 it's more of a 5/10 work week, during modestly busy times. Obviously busy season ramps up, but even in the "slow" summer, I find myself doing 5/9s - and no opportunity to not work each day.
.
This is a common schedule at oil and gas companies.
