What wallet do you use?

Title says it all.

Of course, this isn't a watch, pair of shoes, or tie; likely nobody will recognize or care what wallet you have, but it's something you touch every day and should last a while, so it's nice to have a nice one.

What brand? How long have you had it? Is it bifold? Trifold?

And if you don't have a wallet, what do you use instead?

That sounds kinda troublesome in daily life to me. Like let’s say you bring ur “wallet out” to pay for a meal, you would have to sift through your stack of cards. All sounds rather inconvenient.

A wallet my grandfather bought in communist Poland in the 1970's. I found it in a drawer around the house, untouched still in plastic wrap and I've been using it for the past two years or so. Absolutely amazing quality, dark brown leather. My grandmother told me he paid maybe the equivalent of 20 cents today in Deutsche Marks back then for it and that he must've forgotten about it

Before that I used to just put everything in my pocket without a wallet and then my debit card and student card (which were both white) pretty much turned blue from my jeans lol

I had a small brown buffalo leather coach bi fold for 7 years and i loved it. put through the wash a few times no issue. GF put it through the drier and ruined it.

Everyday Wallet: Brown leather, bifold, single stitch, used it for about 5 years. It held up pretty well. Fancy Wallet: Black cape buffalo (got to mess with PETA and vegans), trifold, double stitched, don't know the brand. Had it for a while, haven't really used it too much. It's kind of hard to justify using this wallet just for the daily commute.

I currently have a leather charcoal Carpisa, italian brand. I do not like trifold ones and i stick with a bifold. I would like to try the new minimalist wallet i saw online. Anyone tried that yet?

Nobody likes a Costanza wallet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TFVRP0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_… Sailcloth, under $20, and utterly respectable. With three RFID cards, four credit cards, and the basic DL/Ins/etc. set plus $200 in twenties it is under 1/3" thick. "He who travels happily must travel light." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I may not get compliments, but I do occasionally see someone else buy one after a meeting with me.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

NEO Wallet is a lightweight wallet developed and maintained by the NEO community. Though being a web wallet, it takes care of your NEO funds as nothing is ever sent to NEO Wallet's servers. It allows you to create a wallet back up so that you control your private keys of your NEO funds.

I use a vintage money clip that my grandfather got when he worked for a steel company decades ago. It has their logo on it and kind of reminds me of my family history and where hard work can get you. Nothing special but just something personal that gets me going.

Dayman?

Some cheap leather one I got at the mall for like $20. Has all of the compartments I need, a see through screen for the ID, and holds a ton of business cards/plastic cards and cash without breaking or getting too fat

Silicone credit card holder that sticks to the back of my phone. Slip a 50 / 100 in my phone case. That’s it folks. No more having to worry about losing your wallet or having that annoying bulge in your pocket.

I charge literally everything on my credit card so there is very little reason for me to carry cash other than a few bucks just in case

Some time ago on a trip to Rome, I met with a wallet in the name of iclip. After the general search, I found this bag on Amazon and bought it immediately. Loved it from moment one! It keeps everything neat and protected, prevents me from overstuffing my wallet with needless receipts, etc., and fits comfortably in my front pocket. It is a fantastic product. The best thing about the I-clip is the size. I used to love brand wallets before and I usually found the best brands on Digistyle. But now I HATE big fat wallets. This is slim, holds several credit cards, license, insurance cards, business cards and has the money clip. I put it in my back pocket, but it is a great front pocket wallet also.

Looks like it's been a while on this thread but maybe some others looking for content... Wallet is one thing you can actually go very high end on without spending too much relative to other accessories (such as a watch). These days I only carry what's called a 'card case' has a few slots for credit cards and a place for cash in the middle. Keeps you disciplined and you don't end up with a fatass wallet, carrying a ton of things you don't really need daily. Also it means you don't end up sitting on your wallet and ruining its shape/quality when you're out, since these fit in the front pocket.

In terms of brands, look for something that doesn't scream $$$$, like Gucci as somebody here mentioned. I have a Bottega Veneta card case, has no branding anywhere and only people who know will know, to all else it's just a black slim wallet. Hope it helps.

Slimmest wallet possible always. Take a look at Belroy and Roik. I am really happy with both. For me the most important is that it doesn't look like I have an "Alcatel One Touch Easy" in my pocket. And, of course, put your wallet in your jacket inner pocket, whenever possible.

I carry a leather tote which i got from LeatherJacketShop a year ago. It has enough room for all my day to day essentials. It also has a laptop pocket which is really convenient because i carry my MacBook to work everyday. All and all, it is a complete package made from pure leather and is even after a year of continuous use, it is as good as new!

I have a basic black Gucci bifold that I've had for around 3-4 years now. It has treated me extremely well and I've had no issues with it, but I'm currently looking into purchasing a LV or Goyard cardholder as I'm getting tired of how bulky traditional wallets are

Very nice post, I use wallet to keep my important cards and money safe. Recently I have order wallet online from Bezal and no doubt I got good quality more than my expectations. As well as at very low price. So i recommend to check Bezal wallet collection.

I've used a metal wallet for the past few years. I can't remember what the name is off the top of my head. It might be the Ridge wallet with a quick google search, but it could be a knock of version of it. I recently started looking for a carbon fiber wallet (small size) as I really like the asthetics and it really makes the wallet stand out. I find i purchased the Frenchie co. version.
