Is ESPN just annoying now?
Does anyone feel this way about ESPN these days? Every show talks about the same thing, they try very hard to be "bro-ish" and their unrelenting liberal narrative.

I used to watch ESPN for good highlights and gossip about what is going on in the sports world. Now I don't watch it because I cannot handle the pundits analyzing every statement by athletes like they are politicians and possess some sort of Prudential wisdom about how our country ought to be run.
People watch sports to get away. Why ESPN wants to make it political is beyond me. Shut up and talk about the game.
Check out Brett Kollman on youtube, he's the real deal. No political bs, just straight analysis. I've learned so much from watching the way he analyzes player's weaknesses and strengths.
I've banned ESPN from my TV for this reason. I'd rather miss a live sporting event than listen to any of their bullshit.
Some of the shows can be annoying but I just stay away from those. Still love SportsCenter @ Night because SVP is the man. 30 for 30's and E:60's are still incredible and they still kill it with live sports.
I agree with what you're saying about 30/30's (even though they often do still have some sort of left leaning narrative, but that's ok) and live sports. At the same time - I don't even want to give them my business because of how they inject politics into everything else. I would rather not watch the sporting event just to not give them my business.
If I wanted to watch people argue about politics, I'd turn on MSM. It's unfortunate that ESPN has taken the path it has taken. It's their funeral.
Yeah, not only shutup about politics, no one cares about your personality. Tone it down.
the bottom line is that FUCK JEMELE HILL and all her shows
She really needs to spot talking and look up what double edged sword means
The real issue with ESPN is that they have favored the "hot take" over thoughtful sports journalism. They've tried to create a 24/7 sports news cycle by having these talking heads spout wild bombastic takes on utter nonsense. "Does Lonzo Ball winning the Summer League MVP make him better than Jordan?!"
The one bright spot is Sportcenter @ Midnight with SVP. He provides thoughtful commentary compared to his counterparts.
Day 1 take: "Why should we keep giving LaVar Ball attention he clearly wants??" Day 2 take: "LaVar Ball claims to be better than Jesus, himself. True or False???"
Oh and the Colin Kap thing they keep pushing is beyond annoying at this point. Every Single Day, they try to push how crazy it is and irresponsible for all of the teams to not sign the guy. We get it, ESPN. No need to shove it down our throats.
yes. I just want to watch highlight reels, but now they can't even get that right.
