2018 ModernGuild Thread

ModernGuild seems to be a very promising program for (perhaps mostly) diversity candidates from non-targets hoping to get free interview trainings and guaranteed interviews from firms like JPM and Barclays—This is why I found it a bit strange that there hasn't been a thread created yet. Any fellow applicants here?

hey thanks for your help! do you need a high GPA for this? did you have a very strong application?

Also I heard that there are company events with sponsors such as Barclays and Jpmorgan after you have applied? Did you get invited to these or attend these? How do you get invited to them?

Curious also! I am really interested in this. In the application it says that you can be invited to early events with sponsor companies such as JPM/Barclays/Macquarie etc......... Has anyone heard about these early opportunities yet since they have submitted their app?

Thanks!

So I just got an email to update work employment status, but only for the Consulting app, not the Finance app. Does that mean I've been dinged for the Finance program and only being considered for Consulting now?

hey @Jiayi-Chen12

congrats!!! that is amazing. are you a sophomore?

Also did you receive the invite through Modernguild or did you apply on your own? Do you mind please saying the date you got the email to apply/ then were invited? Is this specifically a ModernGuild bootcamp?

I can PM you also!!

A few friends and I did ModernGuild and I think that it's a sham. The founder seems desperate and they fail to mention that MS dropped them. They've picked up new partners, but don't really care for participants and care more for growing their business. Programs like MLT and SEO seem to care more for program participants.
