Depending on what your major as an AEO, 4-year tuition will be closer to ~$75k CAD. Ivey is strong for UG sell-side recruiting, although HF/PE roles right away have become more common but not the norm.

Unsure about UCB, but Ivey will have a lean towards Toronto-based jobs, with some New York / LA / SF.

Ivey is highly underrated as a target school. I would say aside from Wharton and HYP not many other target schools in the US can outcompete Ivey in terms of placements, especially for IB (for GS NY and LA, 11 kids placed in total for this summer; Wharton also sent 11 as reference). I doubt UCB places nearly as much . As for US PE megafunds, SLP/Ares consistently take 2 kids from Ivey every year, while LGP takes 1. For megafund HFs, this year one kid placed with Point72. But I would say outside of BB banks and EBs most finance companies in the US don't know Ivey that well so it is disadvantaged in that regard.

Another thing is if you are Canadian Ivey is a way safer option in the current political environment. With the whole visa situation going on, who knows if when you graduate you are allowed to work full-time in America as a Canadian.
