What wallet do you use?
Title says it all.
Of course, this isn't a watch, pair of shoes, or tie; likely nobody will recognize or care what wallet you have, but it's something you touch every day and should last a while, so it's nice to have a nice one.
What brand? How long have you had it? Is it bifold? Trifold?
And if you don't have a wallet, what do you use instead?
Black leather fossil wallet, trifold, double stitched. I've used it daily for 11 years. It even went through the washer a couple of times. Still in great shape.
This is an American Psycho type answer. "Bone, raised lettering"
No wallet. Rubber band around a few credit/ATM cards, ID, my frequent shopper's card, and a few bills stacked and folded into thirds. No unsightly bulge in my pants other than the one God gave me, and the friction from the rubber band guarantees it will never slip out on its own.
Significant chuckle/10
That sounds kinda troublesome in daily life to me. Like let’s say you bring ur “wallet out” to pay for a meal, you would have to sift through your stack of cards. All sounds rather inconvenient.
Montblanc has pretty nice looking wallets that are made with high quality leather. The price is not as absurd as other "luxury" brands like Gucci or Louis Vuitton and still lasts a long time. Invest in a good one and you won't be buying a wallet for some years to come.
A wallet my grandfather bought in communist Poland in the 1970's. I found it in a drawer around the house, untouched still in plastic wrap and I've been using it for the past two years or so. Absolutely amazing quality, dark brown leather. My grandmother told me he paid maybe the equivalent of 20 cents today in Deutsche Marks back then for it and that he must've forgotten about it
Before that I used to just put everything in my pocket without a wallet and then my debit card and student card (which were both white) pretty much turned blue from my jeans lol

Very stylish. So when you take your girl to a dinner, you carry that blue one or you have elegant black variant?
I use this: https://usa.secrid.com/collection/cardprotector
Awesome as I don't carry any cash. If you do they have great wallets as well.
yesss I'm a fan of secrid too but I also just try and use apple pay whenever I can
Apple pay isn't very big in my country, just wireless paying with your debit card(and some banks have NFC apps here, but they are not widely accepted). If mobile payment systems would be larger here I'd dump every card I have immediatly lol.
I use secrid as well. Love it.
A small unassuming sack.
.
I bought a small coach wallet with a money clip on the back like 7 years. It's still going strong, it may be on its last leg but it's small and has lasted forever. Best 80$ spent ever.
I had a small brown buffalo leather coach bi fold for 7 years and i loved it. put through the wash a few times no issue. GF put it through the drier and ruined it.
how are you an analyst anywhere if you're still putting the dollar sign after the number
Is use a nicer variation of this. Makes for quick access. https://sc01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1tk6KGXXXXXbZXXXXq6xXFXXXb/201088034/HTB1…

Give me a bifold or give me death
bull leather wallet
Ferragamo card holder with built in metal money clip. Bought it in 2007 and have used it ever since. Super slim profile; I love it.
Everyday Wallet: Brown leather, bifold, single stitch, used it for about 5 years. It held up pretty well. Fancy Wallet: Black cape buffalo (got to mess with PETA and vegans), trifold, double stitched, don't know the brand. Had it for a while, haven't really used it too much. It's kind of hard to justify using this wallet just for the daily commute.

Another WSO survey. We should get paid for these.
I have this brown Fossil wallet that has about 20 card holders, a coin pouch, ID window, and plenty of room for lots and lots of cash
Tumi black leather card-holder style wallet. Really slim because I don't carry much cash and absolutely hate a chunky wallet that pulls when I sit down.
Saint Laurent cardholder and a Supreme x Louis Vuitton bifold
Is this bait?
Louboutin spiked wallet

Hugo Boss black bi-fold wallet. Have been using it for four years.
Bally card holder, cash in pocket
Big fan of Mont Blanc. Top class, but not ignorant (like a gucci) in a business setting. Like you said, its something you touch every day. Go big or go home. $200 on amazon for a wallet that will last you a decade and even get you laid in the right occasions.
https://www.amazon.com/Montblanc-Meisterstuck-Credit-Card-Wallet/dp/B00…
how exactly did your montblanc bi fold get you laid?
I've had the same Gucci magnetic money clip for almost 10 years and love it. Wallets are too bulky, this forces me to not keep junk
salvatore ferragamo calf soft leather wallet. Still going strong after 5 years.
Goyard card holder
I bought black and brown Ralph Lauren card holders like 7 years ago and they're still going strong. I rotate them to match my outfits. The brown leather has a beautiful patina now.
Have a black LV bi-fold wallet that I sit on my desk every day so people see it and admire my success of being able to afford a custom made LV wallet
LV
Black Binder clip. Fits cards and cash with no bulk.
LV slender wallet. Graphite check with a stripe.
Picked it up in Europe which is far more reasonably priced.
Common Projects bifold wallet; the brand is my guilty pleasure
I currently have a leather charcoal Carpisa, italian brand. I do not like trifold ones and i stick with a bifold. I would like to try the new minimalist wallet i saw online. Anyone tried that yet?
Been using this bad boy for years https://factory.jcrew.com/p/mens-clothing/accessories/wallets/leather-m…
Nobody likes a Costanza wallet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TFVRP0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_… Sailcloth, under $20, and utterly respectable. With three RFID cards, four credit cards, and the basic DL/Ins/etc. set plus $200 in twenties it is under 1/3" thick. "He who travels happily must travel light." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I may not get compliments, but I do occasionally see someone else buy one after a meeting with me.
Burberry wallet, a bit too bulky now so looking into the Raphael Quality leather goods card holder
I have about 8 wallets, but always find myself going back to this weird looking contraption. Works amazingly well, super minimalistic, no bullshit.

leather card holders only, wallets in a jacket pocket ruin the suit jackets shape
For the last decade I've only used Bosca wallets. Phenomenal quality. I originally paid something like $125 for one but now you can find some at Nordstrom Rack for $20ish.

for my daily use i prefer TRAVANDO Slim Wallet with Money Clip “RIO” RFID Blocking Wallet

recently upgraded to navy goyard wallet/grey card case rotation because apparently I like wasting money but they are actually quite nice
Nautica
I use a vintage money clip that my grandfather got when he worked for a steel company decades ago. It has their logo on it and kind of reminds me of my family history and where hard work can get you. Nothing special but just something personal that gets me going.

A Costanza wallet...
But seriously, best wallet I've ever used:

Some cheap leather one I got at the mall for like $20. Has all of the compartments I need, a see through screen for the ID, and holds a ton of business cards/plastic cards and cash without breaking or getting too fat

I bought a Gucci GG Supreme wallet (bi-fold), thinking it'd be nice to flex a luxury wallet, when really it's sort of embarrassing to pull out when with friends/ co-workers. If I could do it over, I would just grab a nice, plain leather wallet and call it a day.
Silicone credit card holder that sticks to the back of my phone. Slip a 50 / 100 in my phone case. That’s it folks. No more having to worry about losing your wallet or having that annoying bulge in your pocket.
I charge literally everything on my credit card so there is very little reason for me to carry cash other than a few bucks just in case
Have a beatup cardholder for everyday use. For special occasions I use a YSL Cardholder, slim and minimalistic.
https://www.machine-era.com/collections/frontpage/products/ti-wallet
Love the machine era. Holds all my cards and bills. Titanium is very durable. This guy will last for years. Very slim in the pocket too. Doesn't leave marks.
Some time ago on a trip to Rome, I met with a wallet in the name of iclip. After the general search, I found this bag on Amazon and bought it immediately. Loved it from moment one! It keeps everything neat and protected, prevents me from overstuffing my wallet with needless receipts, etc., and fits comfortably in my front pocket. It is a fantastic product. The best thing about the I-clip is the size. I used to love brand wallets before and I usually found the best brands on Digistyle. But now I HATE big fat wallets. This is slim, holds several credit cards, license, insurance cards, business cards and has the money clip. I put it in my back pocket, but it is a great front pocket wallet also.
I got a bifold wallet from Saturday's NYC a few years ago, it looks nicer than it did new, and I've gotten a handful of compliments on it as well. It is reasonably priced compared to other fashion brands as well ($140).
https://www.saturdaysnyc.com/item/bi-fold-wallet-wallet-black
I got a card-holder at J. Crew for like $10. I hate bulky wallets, and I don't really carry cash anymore (if I do, my cardholder has a little strap you can tuck it in)
Looks like it's been a while on this thread but maybe some others looking for content... Wallet is one thing you can actually go very high end on without spending too much relative to other accessories (such as a watch). These days I only carry what's called a 'card case' has a few slots for credit cards and a place for cash in the middle. Keeps you disciplined and you don't end up with a fatass wallet, carrying a ton of things you don't really need daily. Also it means you don't end up sitting on your wallet and ruining its shape/quality when you're out, since these fit in the front pocket.
In terms of brands, look for something that doesn't scream $$$$, like Gucci as somebody here mentioned. I have a Bottega Veneta card case, has no branding anywhere and only people who know will know, to all else it's just a black slim wallet. Hope it helps.
Funny how the bottega card case was only mentioned once in this thread - I currently use one and absolutely love it. Subtle and the leather quality is undeniably awesome
My wife got me BV's small bifold wallet and I've been using it for the past couple years - love its subtlety and quality woven pattern.
https://www.amazon.com/alpine-swiss-Minimalist-Genuine-Leather/dp/B00AB…
Holds more than you expect. This, my phone, and keys are the only things I carry on my commute.
zerOz wallet. Based in Columbus. I've had three over the last +/-10 years. Absolutely love them.
Slimmest wallet possible always. Take a look at Belroy and Roik. I am really happy with both. For me the most important is that it doesn't look like I have an "Alcatel One Touch Easy" in my pocket. And, of course, put your wallet in your jacket inner pocket, whenever possible.
I carry a leather tote which i got from LeatherJacketShop a year ago. It has enough room for all my day to day essentials. It also has a laptop pocket which is really convenient because i carry my MacBook to work everyday. All and all, it is a complete package made from pure leather and is even after a year of continuous use, it is as good as new!
I - Clip.
Small, lightweight, functional, looks good. love it.

Sterling Silver Tiffany Money Clip
nice sharing
I have a basic black Gucci bifold that I've had for around 3-4 years now. It has treated me extremely well and I've had no issues with it, but I'm currently looking into purchasing a LV or Goyard cardholder as I'm getting tired of how bulky traditional wallets are
RFID wallet on amazon for $10. Stylish, slim and sleek and doesn’t take up a lot of room in your pocket. Can put multiple cards and cash in it and be safe from hackers on the street
Very nice post, I use wallet to keep my important cards and money safe. Recently I have order wallet online from Bezal and no doubt I got good quality more than my expectations. As well as at very low price. So i recommend to check Bezal wallet collection.
I've used a metal wallet for the past few years. I can't remember what the name is off the top of my head. It might be the Ridge wallet with a quick google search, but it could be a knock of version of it. I recently started looking for a carbon fiber wallet (small size) as I really like the asthetics and it really makes the wallet stand out. I find i purchased the Frenchie co. version.
I've used the same Bellroy slim sleeve since 2014
Brown full grain bifold
