How to list this low GPA for IB roles?

I got an F in a language class and now have a 3.15 cum GPA. Nothing I can do about it now. Without counting this course, I have a 3.8 cumulative gpa. I also have a 3.7 Major GPA(econ).

How do I best list GPA on my resume when applying to investment banking roles? Do I need to keep on my cum GPA of 3.15?

  1. What about GPA dropdown menus?
  2. Will it be considered as cheating or untrustworthiness by anyone? I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to lie - just show the best version of myself.

if wework can get away with Community Adjusted EBITDA, you can get away with your proforma GPA.

just draft a PP slide with the bridge showing what your GPA would have been without partying, extra-curriculars, and your language class. attach it to the appendix of your resume and you should be all set.

pls convert slide to pdf. send over asap. ill turn and get it back to you before next round of apps. thx

You list it as "GPA: 3.15" and can add "Major GPA: 3.7"

You can't say "GPA without the one class I bombed: 3.8"

You hope you get the chance to explain it in an interview. Also, if one class is dropping your gpa by .65 then you likely don't have many credits yet. You can still finish strong with a better GPA. I get that it will strongly impact SA recruiting though, which is likely why you're asking.
