1) Is there any tangible proof of your behavior? an arrest, write up to HR...or pictures. If not its 2019 bro. gossip is gossip and people are always going to be jealous. if their is not video proof or a proffesional document of your behavior it will not stop you.

Can you be successful in banking (analyst level) without drinking?

if the alumni are telling you about it they're probably not taking it seriously.

if someone told me that about someone, I'd respond: oh, did he get a DUI? stomach pump? what? not even arrested? soooo where's the issue? oh, he blacked out a few times in college? 20? that's it? you know that's like 2.5x per semester, right? sometimes I'd do that over a 2 week period. why are you telling me this? click

I have to agree with thebrofessor here. Why anyone would care that you got drunk in college is beyond me. The only context I can imagine caring about this is if you weren't showing up to work because you were getting drunk. Alternatively, if you were so hungover that you couldn't perform at work or were throwing up in the bathroom, I'd have a problem with that. Otherwise, I'd probably remind whomever told me this that snitches get stitches. Either way, I'd never hire someone who was trying to make someone else look bad (presumably to make them look better by comparison). After all, if you're badmouthing a stranger to another stranger, why would I suppose you wouldn't badmouth me behind my back? I don't need people like that in my life.

Calm down Moran, the guys are just messing with ya, get back to the Goat House - party's already started yo!
