Internship in hedge funds.

I am currently in the last year at school(17 years old). I live in Eastern European country , studying mathematics at a very high level (participating in math Olympiads , studying calculus with "Calculus A Complete Course" , Stock market and principles of economics). I want to take the internship in hedge funds in USA , Canada or UK, about in 3-4 years (when I will be studying Economics at the University in my country) , of course I will need visa sponsorship. What else can I be doing to increase my chances at hedge funds ,What should I do to be a good candidate for the internship, What skills should I learn ?

It be tough here in the US right now because many aren't giving sponsorships, and that's without the competition but I'm sure in the UK it would be much easier with the information from the first post.
