IB or Military?

Hi WSO,

Hoping everyone will be able to help me make a decision. Currently a Sophomore at a US non-target (20 yrs old). I have two offers on the table:

  1. An internship offer with a reputable MM IB in a MCOL city

  2. Getting drafted into the Army to go fight WW3

I'd really like to take the IB internship but the Army recruiter seems persistent, like, unusually pushy about accepting the offer. Quote from him: "You will end up in jail if you don't enlist, son."

Was wondering if you all could give me an idea of the exit opportunities from both options to help me decide, share if you've taken a similar path, etc.
Thanks - CJC
