Who are some of the best hedge fund headhunters, and do they make a difference?

I have primarily spoken with Options Group for hedge fund / prop trading firm roles. When I searched this site, I saw a couple threads from a few years back that seems to suggest several other sourcing firms may be a better choice (e.g., Search1, CPI, OxBridge), but I'm not sure how up to date that information is.

Which headhunters have you guys worked with, and what are your experiences?
Is there an advantage to working with one headhunting group over another if they represent the same company?

I'm only searching for roles in the U.S., primarily in NYC, Chicago, and the Bay Area.

Edit: I will be a PhD grad. Some recruiters, e.g., Dynamics DSP, doesn't seem to recruit PhD grads.
