Stephens FT Full Time Phone Screen
Did anyone finish it and move on? Was wondering what the timeline was looking like for it. This is for the NYC office.

When did apps open/how long after you applied did you get the phone screen for NYC? Boston opened a few days ago and am curious if they are following a similar timeline.
I applied a week ago about and got a phone screen a few days after I submitted. Interviewer said I probably will hear back early this week. Felt the interview went well so wondering if they just delayed it.
Was the phone screen mostly behavioral?
Did you guys all apply via your campus portal or was this on the generic submission on their website?
Campus portal.
Anyone get back results for the second round or had a timeline?
I still haven't heard back from my first phone interview a couple weeks ago
Doesnt this company only do really small deals
any idea on questions asked and overall process format?
Had an initial phone screen with an associate a few weeks ago. Wasn’t asked anything challenging, pretty much all behavioral. Was told to expect to hear back late August/early September and that their process was gonna be delayed this year. From what I heard it’s usually only 2-3 rounds and then Superday
Following this. Can confirm after initial phone screen there are 2 interviews followed by superday. Anybody have an idea of how many spots there are in NY?
Have heard very few compared to others considering this is one of their smaller offices. A friend of mine works there and was told firsthand that despite people wanting to go there just because it’s NY, much less dealflow and experience with more interesting projects as compared to Dallas/Atlanta/Little Rock.
Are you talking about FT? I can confirm that there are 5 calls before the superday... so not sure why our interviewer were saying different things. Where are you in the process?
If I remember correctly, 3-4 FT analysts usually.
I’ve spoken to 2 people, with one being a connection at the firm. That may factor into it, but honestly not completely sure. Have spoken with others in the past and have heard of varying interview processes.
Yeah each office does it differently. 2 analysts at NY has said I can expect multiple more steps and superday in late September.
Each office runs their own process so steps to the super day are most likely different across cities
They usually have all their offices Superday at the Little Rock, AR office, and then list office preference. You essentially have to be green-lighted for an offer and then hope the offices you listed are equally interested in you. Also no point in applying if you aren't a white male from the south/frat. They exclusively hire from that demographic.
Had a first round phone screen with a VP, was told that the superday would be September 18 (usually in Little Rock, but corona times obviously makes this year a little different). He also mentioned there are 15-20 FT spots they’re looking to fill, but unclear if that’s across the firm or just in their larger offices
What was the interview like?
Had first round phone screen and got moved to the official "first round", and was told there would be another round after followed by superdays on the 18/19th. Anyone know the format for the official first round. Analyst told me more on the technical side, but how advanced does that mean?
What office?
^
anyone know how deep technicals get throughout the process?
Hey guys, how hard is the official first round? How many technicals?
Anyone ever hear back after first FT screen?
Had 2 phone screens. One like the pre screen and then the official. What are the next steps?
How was the “official one” did they ask a a lot of technical or behaviorals?
It was decent. Mostly technicals, but it felt like they were trying to get to know me. This was last week.
Similar boat as you. Do you know when the next interview is supposed to be / when we're supposed to hear back
No, no idea. I am waiting as well
.
Had three interviews in the past month. Expect to have one more before the Superday (9/19).
Only had 1 virtual interview w/associate. Said super day offers would go out this week, have yet to hear anything.
Office?
ATL
Any updates on the ATL office? Had a virtual first round with them last week but haven't heard anything back yet.
Same. Still have not heard back as of 9/12 at 8pm.
heard back today
Anyone hear back about a superday? Sounds like it’s a week from Saturday but I haven’t heard of anyone getting an invite yet
Still waiting to hear back about superday as well. Anybody know if superday is on the phone or is it through zoom/Skype?
offers going out today apparently for ATL
Superday invites went out yesterday. Will be all virtual.
Anybody else here for NY?
That also got superday invite^
Well, darn... good luck
Can someone confirm?
Are NY superdays out? Also, how many superdays are they having?
Not sure about NY. Heard every office has a seperate process, but I think the superdays for all of them line up. ATL went out yesterday/today.
Sounds like only Atlanta has gotten their superday offers out huh?
Any news on Little Rock?
anyone heard back from dallas?
Anyone heard from NY yet?
Lol I have refreshed my email way too many times. I’m guessing those of us that haven’t heard about NY Superday aren’t getting one
from what ive heard it doesnt seem like theyve finished or even started sending out invites so who knows lol, i feel you though. its getting a bit ridiculous
Hope you’re right. For non-professional reasons this is my top group, so fingers crossed
I was told I didn't get it yesterday from a connection at the firm. Take that for what it's worth
