Post MBA Oil & Gas Corporate Finance
Does anyone have insight into the post MBA corporate finance or strategy roles at any of the oil majors such as Exxon, BP, Shell, Chevron, etc? I am interested in finding out more relative to recruiting, comp, and lifestyle. I have seen a couple threads related to this but most are outdated or not too specific. Thanks!
jp618, sorry about the lack of response. Maybe one of these topics will help:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
Bump
I worked with a lady that worked at BP prior and she said the finance guys would get bonuses that would pay for new luxury vehicles free and clear. She said they paid really well, but didnt get into specifics.
Did an internship at ExxonMobil this summer in the Controller's group (they have CF roles split between Treasurer's and Controller's). I think long term opportunities may be decent but near/mid-term roles (0-5 years w company) are pretty boring; I think many would agree that MBAs are significantly overqualified. Compensation is decent (130ish) but not out of this world. I am concerned that the industry as a whole has fundamentally changed. We may never see $100/bbl oil again, and these companies are never going to be able to afford to pay what they once did.
Does comp figure include a signing bonus?
Bump - would love more info on total comp
