Also had first round... thought it went well and heard that they will be doing super day on Sept 19. Surprised no one has heard anything. I didn’t know that so many ppl were applying here.
Should I put it back? I know it's completely true also and no one was pissed off here. I just felt bad for them since they aren't a great shop to begin with and didn't want to give them any bad press. It is what it is.
At the closing remarks, they said they would discuss it "that evening and tomorrow (Sunday)." So I'm guessing they are still working through. But could be waiting to send rejections.
I believe we are likely in limbo as well and why is that...how can I come to that conclusion?
If anything changed (esp in these crazy COVID times) a savvy IBank like BA would proactively let SD candidates know that it is taking longer, days longer, to make their offer decisions. Without BA providing updated timing info the best information I have to develop a reasonable understanding of "where we are" is the firm's earlier timing info and the many years of SD process experiences on WSO.
Maybe. This year is going to be weird and a little communications from HR goes a long way.
With BA I roughly heard a range of 5 to 10 analysts. I could see some pushing for 5, some for 8, some for 10. But do you pull the trigger on a full class now? Well if you kick out after 2 years you likely do hire a full class (8 to 10) - it does not change head count so fewer would be a bad sign. If you plan to keep the senior analysts (or some of them) for a 3rd year then no you likely don't add 8 to 10...now.
What does that mean. I would think the top 5 were made. There still may be some debate over the next few and how to make the offers and communicate with these people. Firms like BA that higher smaller FT classes in Aug - Oct may have a second mini SD in Dec - Feb.

Also had first round... thought it went well and heard that they will be doing super day on Sept 19. Surprised no one has heard anything. I didn’t know that so many ppl were applying here.

Anyone got anything??
No. Had a first round as well and still waiting to hear back
Any idea when superdays are out?
Looks nobody got anything yet. Whoever said Friday was off I think.
They are still doing first rounds, was told supers will be late Sept
Hopefully, really want this man
Any word?
First rounds still happening I believe this and (maybe next) week, superdays after that in 2-3 weeks. I don't think this process is super structured
I was told superdays are happening in less than a month. This was 3 weeks ago
lmao, had mine 1-2 weeks ago and had same answer. but again process is super unstructured so I wouldn't think about this seriously either way
Are there only two rounds total? A first round and then superday or is there something in between?
Someone said round 2 invites are out
Is that a final round?
Did u get it?
Is this true? Are 2nd rounds out?
yes I got one
Is it a final round?
When are second rounds?
Guys can anyone confirm this for sure? Are the 2nd rounds out only for a few schools or everyone? Also, are the second rounds a superday?
Nothing's out yet - people just bullshitting to troll you guys hard...
Anyone know what's actually going on here??
Anyone?
Apparently 2nd rounds are already out and some people have already done them.
Where did you find this?
Did my second round and have a superday coming soon. non-target for the street but have a few alumni at blackarch
When did you get a superday invite? Was it right after 2nd round?
How many people have gotten 2nd rounds?
Bump
Did anyone from BlackArch's Non targets get an interview?
What are examples of BlackArch's targets schools?
NC schools e.g. UNC, Wake
Just check their website

Any updates on where people are in the process?
I have no idea what is going on with this
bump does anyone know whats going on?
Non-target here and have still not heard back after 1st round
It sounds like some 2nd rounds went out a while back but nothing on superdays for anyone?
Same man. I think they dicked all of us over. Don't know why man. Absolutely killed the first round and the dude said I'm gonna go ahead.
They're full of shit, pretty sure only target school candidates will be chosen.
Same killed the first round unfortunately don't think Im a target candidate for BlackArch.
To be fair, I'm target and have also heard radio silence
Can you by chance say which target like UNC/UVA or somewhere else?
so has anyone other than the 1 guy heard anything about next round/super day?
Did you hear after the 1st round interview? Is it a superday right after the 1st round?
I had a 2nd round a while back but nothing since.......
FT Social yesterday evening and superday ended approx 3pm today.
No specific timing communicated. Offers out Sunday/Monday?
No specific number on expected offers or number of candidates but sounds like approx 8 offers for approx 30 candidates.
Anyone else on WSO participate? If so, anyone hear or see anything different?
Be sure to say when offers come in so we know the process.
Would be great to hear any updates if anyone has heard back
crickets here at noon on monday
Same over here
I just had a phone screen and haven't heard back. Does this mean I got dinged?
I have not heard back from the Saturday SD.
At this point if you haven't been extended an offer then you are at best on the waitlist...and most likely a few days out from the rejection.
how do you know that if no one else has heard back
How long should you usually expect to hear back after an superday?
Normally 24-48 hours, but we are living in unusual times
.
I saw what you wrote late last night before the edit.
It may have pissed someone off - but it was not incorrect.
Should I put it back? I know it's completely true also and no one was pissed off here. I just felt bad for them since they aren't a great shop to begin with and didn't want to give them any bad press. It is what it is.
They haven't gotten back from anything with me. I have no clue what's going on.
did they tell anyone when to expect to hear back?
At the closing remarks, they said they would discuss it "that evening and tomorrow (Sunday)." So I'm guessing they are still working through. But could be waiting to send rejections.
